Nail primer, or primer, is a special liquid that provides better adhesion (adhesion) of an artificial coating (gel, gel polish, acrylic) to the natural nail plate.

Types of primers:
1. Acid primer (Primer) – contains methacrylic acid, aggressively degreases the surface of the nail and changes its PH. It is more often used in pedicures, when quick and deep degreasing and priming is required, when working with acrylic, less often - under gel. Suitable for problematic, hyperhidrosis nails.
2. Acid-free primer (ULTRABOND) – it is also called “double-sided tape”, it is a softer agent that creates a sticky layer on the surface of the nail for improved adhesion of the material. It is used when working with gel polish, gel, acrylic, acrylic.

How to use the primer:
1. Prepare the nails: shape, treat the cuticle, degrease the nail plate.
2. Apply the primer in a thin layer on the nail, avoiding contact with the skin.
3. Wait for it to dry completely (acidic dries in a few seconds, acid-free leaves a sticky layer, if it is cold in the room, you can place your hand in a UV lamp to warm it up.
4. Apply a base coat or artificial material.

Important: Primer is a professional product that should be used carefully, with a semi-dry brush. If applied incorrectly, acid primer can cause burns or skin irritation.
